Recanto Maestro, a 25-years story of continuous development!

The 25th birthday celebrated on the 9th of February 2013 with a ceremony on international scale held on the 2nd of March: not just one person blowing the candles, but hundreds of operators who, since 1988, have been continuously contributing to the development of the Recanto Maestro district, the ecobiological project started right 25 years ago by Antonio Meneghetti, with the goal of making the humanistic spirit’s authenticity tangible and concrete also in Brazil.

There were many remarkable moments during the celebrations, the most significant one’s being the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Antonio Meneghetti Faculdade and the Saint Petersburg State University, the Merit Awards Recanto Maestro delivery and the São Pedro Theater Chamber Orchestra’s performance of the works of the Maestro Antonio Meneghetti. It was precisely the President of the São Pedro Theater Foundation, Eva Sopher, who awarded Antonio Meneghetti with a special honorary prize for the results accomplished, results which, through projects acknowledged even by the United Nations (UN), aim at the achievement of the 8 Millennium Development Goals.

The Recanto Maestro District places itself as an economic, social, environmental and human development center: all of these goals will necessarily lead towards the opening of new horizons, because this is the inescapable result of those who proceed in line with the life’s progress.
