XIX International Congress of the International Ontopsychology Association in Lizori from 20th to 22nd of September 2018

It is our pleasure to announce the forthcoming 19th AIO International Congress that will take place at Lizori, in Borgo San Benedetto, Campello sul Clitunno (Perugia), Italy, on 20-22 September 2018, under the auspices of the Antonio Meneghetti Humanistic and Scientific Research Foundation (CH). This congress follows in the footsteps our past most outstanding International Events held in the UN headquarter in New York (2001) and Geneva (2011), and in the UNESCO headquarter in Paris (2000, 2006, 2007).  Lizori is a medieval hamlet  between Spoleto and Assisi and it is set amidst olive trees along the Mount Revaglioso ridge. Its beauty is luminous and vital, transparent and pristine, the multiplier of motivations to social action.

The theme of the Congress is ‘System and Personality: the somatizations of the psyche from the biological body to the social body’.  It is well-known that quality of life and psycho-social factors are central in the onset, evolution and management of many diseases. It is equally well-known that the realization of the individual is a guarantee of problem solutions and social development at large. Society is not an abstraction, but a system characterized by individuals. In current times, it is essential to acquire further knowledge on the development and functioning of human being systems.

The coming meeting will also focus on various aspects of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the light of the values of the historical-civil humanism highlighted by Antonio Meneghetti, founder of the International Ontopsychology Association in 1978. Since 1999, the International Ontopsychology Association has been serving as a non-governmental organization in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

The 19th AIO Congress will be a privileged event to share new scientific developments and to analyse the challenges and effective contributions that science and profession may offer to our societies.

We welcome scientists, scholars and practitioners in any scientific and humanistic field from all over the world to meet at Lizori to share their knowledge and experience.

The Organizing Committee is willing to make the Congress a memorable event and warmly invite you to join the meeting.

We look forward to welcoming you to Lizori!
