IOA at the Geneva UN headquarters for an event with youth from BRIC countries

It is in the Geneva UN headquarters, right in the middle of the year declared to be the “International Youth Year”, that the International Ontopsychology Association, NGO in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Committee of the United Nations – promoted the BRIC event, dedicated to young people coming from all that area (Brazil-Russia-India-China) which until yesterday represented the four major emerging powers of the planet and today is its main development source. A potential – the one of BRIC – understood by the Professor Meneghetti more than twenty years ago, when he already saw in that area a rich soil for the enhancement of the humanistic values of our planet. Four youth delegations from the BRIC countries presented just as many development paths based mainly on the ontopsychological culture as a contribution to the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) achievement.
A conference by the Academic Professor Antonio Meneghetti (Honorary President of the IOA) followed, during which, once more, he drew the attention of the institutions to the merits of a science, Ontopsychology, which has been retrieving, since its formalization more than forty years ago, the basic constants of humanitas in order to make them available to the values of new humanism, in a scientific panorama which had lost, centuries ago, the high road of the solution to the problem “human being”. The scientific dialogue and the knowledge integration play an important role in shaping the context for the Antonio Meneghetti Award, created precisely in order to encourage research on the knowledge of Ontopsychology in an increasing number of knowledge fields.
The award was published last December by the Humanistic and Scientific Research Foundation Antonio Meneghetti and on the 20th of June – in the UN seat – it came to completion with the announcement of the winners. Two of them, ex-equo, for the Economics section, three in the Medicine and Physics section, all of them confronted with dozens of researchers coming from different parts of the world, from Australia to Brazil, who wanted to compete in this award contest which was greeted with the highest support by Universities, Research Departments and Centers that spread the news everywhere on the globe. Let’s also underline the scientific profile and international composition of the Scientific Committee that proclaimed the winners. It was presided by the Acc. Prof. Antonio Meneghetti and the Vice-president Prof. Abelardo Lobato (Foundation Council, Spain) and further composed by the following professors: Helena Biasotto (Brazil), Natalia Bubnova (Russian Federation), Vladmir Kascirin (Russian Federation), Horacio Chikota (Brazil), Paul Martin (Australia), Jeanette Milgrom (Australia), Hanifa Mezoui (France e Algeria), Wu Ruijun (China) e Alexey Saveliev (Russian Federation).
Therefore, the Antonio Meneghetti Award achieves its goal: promoting  the knowledge of the three exclusive discoveries of Ontopsychology, making them available to any field of knowledge as a contribution of integral humanism. For the year 2013, the next edition is already being prepared; in Assisi, during the opening conference of the Summer University of Ontopsychology 2011, an awarding ceremony will complete the celebrations.
